Duane Toenges

Owner & Chief Executive Officer 

Duane Toenges has been in managerial positions for more than 34 years.  Duane has spent his career tackling complex situations and creating actionable plans.  He is responsible for leading the long-term strategy and business development of the Dynamic Group.  Duane began his working career with various agricultural cooperatives having held a variety of agronomical, nutritional, and management positions over two decades.  In 2002, he became the U.S. Supply Aggregation Manager for AgCert International leading their agriculture program of greenhouse gas emissions reductions.  Duane joined Sindicatum Carbon Capital, a private equity startup group, in 2008 as Senior Vice President of Agricultural Solutions where he specialized in methane recovery projects.  In 2011, Duane became a partner at Dynamic.

Dan Nemke

Owner & Chief Technology Officer 

Dan Nemke has over 15 years of experience in the biogas industry and is one of the founding partners of Dynamic.  Dan focuses on project development, specifically process design, equipment selection, and permitting.  Dan is also involved in the construction, commissioning, and operational oversight of the projects.  Dan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Karl Crave
Owner & EVP of Special Projects 

Karl Crave has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, with almost all in the wastewater and biogas industry.  Previous projects range from automating modest municipal pump stations, to developing, designing, constructing and operating large agricultural and industrial biogas projects.  Karl has assisted in the commissioning, start up, and training of facilities across North America.  Karl’s current focus includes trouble shooting and assisting facility operators overcome operational challenges, planning for remodeling or capital improvements projects, diagnosing biological deficiencies, and providing technical training to the growing team at Dynamic Systems Management.

Karl holds a B.S in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a Certified Wastewater Operator.  In 2011, Karl became a founding partner of Dynamic.

Tammy Jo Decker
EVP of Administration 

Tammy joined Dynamic in 2018 and brings with her 30 years of administration experience. Tammy’s previous work portfolio provides a wide variety of knowledge that she has brought with her from industries such as her position as the Executive Assistant position in Pediatric Surgery at the Medical College of WI. Proceeded by her role as the customer service manager at Quad Tech (Quad-Graphics). Tammy’s accounting background experience was gained by her father’s business in the tool & die trade, where she worked as the company’s bookkeeper and tool & die assistant.  

 

As Executive Vice President of Administration, Tammy is responsible for managing Quickbooks for accounts receivable/accounts payable, runs payroll for the companies employees along with wearing the hat of Human Resources Manager which includes handling the companies health insurance plan and IRA accounts.

Michael Crinion
Chief Operating Officer

Michael Crinion joined Dynamic in 2020 as the Region II Manager and has now been promoted to EVP of Strategic Development.  He is responsible for overseeing the development and operations of all projects in his area. Michael is involved at all stages of the process, from initiating the conversations with dairy farmers, to engaging with zoning and economic development officials, communicating with engineers, and liaising with all stakeholders to ensure a successful project.

 

Michael is a rural entrepreneur with extensive knowledge of dairy, beef, sheep, and poultry enterprises, who has experience in implementing ISOs and HACCP protocols. Michael grew up on a beef, sheep, and poultry farm in Ireland. He studied Agriculture and Farm Management at Warrenstown Agricultural College. In 2002, he was the first runner-up in the Farmers’ Business Development’s All Ireland Young Farmer of the Year competition. To extend his farming operations, Michael’s family moved to Brookings, SD in 2004.

 

He currently is the Managing Partner of Ash Grove Dairy, a cross-ventilated dairy operation in Lake Benton, MN., and is an alumnus of South Dakota Ag & Rural Leadership. (SDARL). 

Michael enjoys volunteering & following his favorite sports, especially the Irish National Rugby Team, the Green Bay Packers, Liverpool Football, and Notre Dame (Go, Irish!)

Matthew Stahl
EVP of Asset Management

Matt joined the Dynamic team in 2021 as Asset Manager. He has spent the past twenty years working his way up in the operations and maintenance field.  He began his career with a tour as a machinist mate in the US Navy based in Virginia. Matt then moved to construction material testing before being hired as an operations technician with Flint Hills Resources in Waupun, WI. He spent nearly eight years working his way up to a lead mechanical technician role with a regional maintenance team.

 

Matt entered the world of biogas and renewable energy in 2018 when he joined Big Ox Energy as the maintenance supervisor at their flagship facility in Denmark, WI.  After the commissioning was complete, he made the move to DTE Biomass Energy as the facility manager for their first forays into the diary-based biogas-to-RNG world out of Newton, WI.

 

Now that Matt is integrated into Dynamic, his focus is on the BC Organics project in Greenleaf, WI.

Britney is the most recent new hire of Dynamic, we welcomed her to the team in August of 2021. Previous to her official employment she was introduced to the company as a contract employee for just short of a year to build our new website.  In addition, she assisted in other marketing and administrative efforts. After entering the job market 10+ years ago, she is equipped with a broad range of background knowledge that includes management skills, customer service talents, technical training, and organizational expertise in small businesses, and corporate companies.  Following those positions, she moved into Account Management for a company promotional program. It was in this role, she began to learn about marketing, digital content design, IT support, and limited human resource functions.  With all of the newly acquired knowledge, she accepted a role specializing in marketing, digital content creation, and social posting.  This built her skills in the industry-leading her to Dynamic where she utilizes her combined experience into a versatile team member.

Brandon serves as Dynamic's Technical Support Lead, acting as an essential resource for the design, construction, and operational staff. His focus is on providing support in mechanical processes, controls, facility maintenance, and training. 
Brandon began his career as a Biogas facility operator and maintenance technician, where he honed his skills in project planning, design, construction, and operations management. He has provided support for multiple biogas facilities, including agricultural, food production, and municipal facilities. 
With over 15 years of experience in the biogas industry, Brandon looks at projects holistically and realistically, understanding how each decision can affect every aspect of the project. His industry experience, technical knowledge, and strong attention to detail make him an essential member of the Dynamic team.

Daniel Keyes
Project Manager

Dan joined the Dynamic team in 2021. He comes with years of maintenance and management experience.  He attended Wisconsin School of Business along with earning an associate’s degree in Applied Science at Madison College.

His career path began as a lead in the maintenance field.   This developed into foundry management of three melt facilities from design to delivery. That role included all aspects of daily operations and project management of related equipment. In addition, he worked with WDNR, stack testing, and regulations.

His most recent employment was to commission a biogas processing facility from construction to operation. Dan applied lean principles and made continuous improvements to the assets while identifying bottlenecks in the production of biogas. These Improvements minimized downtime while improving quality, quantity, and safety.
