National Organics provides innovative solutions to food processors and biofuel manufactures, allowing them to divert their organic waste from landfills, avoid costly surcharges at waste treatment facilities, and meet their ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) goals.  Liquid and solid organic products are fed into anaerobic digesters, which produce renewable biogas.  Packaged or containerized food waste is separated from its package or container, which can then be recycled, with organic portion fed into the digester.

Anaerobic Digestion is a process by which organic matter, such food waste, is broken down by bacteria in the absence of oxygen, producing biogas. The biogas can be combusted to generate electricity and heat, or it can be processed into renewable natural gas and transportation fuels.  The remaining byproduct is typically used as a soil amendment product, leaving nothing to waste.
